Marzoli textile machinery

Cristoforo Marzoli founded Marzoli in 1851 in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, in the Italian province of Brescia.
In a small garage he began producing guns, then buttons, paper and later spare parts for the spinning of silk, cotton, linen and hemp. Not long afterwards, the founder and his sons - in particular Francesco - developed the small factory into a proper foundry and started the specific production of textile machinery.
The new production developed so quickly that in 1890 the little shop became a modern industrial factory, directed and managed by the second generation of Marzoli's (Mr. Luigi). His great natural abilities being in design and engineering enabled him to transform the company from a small artisanship to a large industrial operation.
This allowed Marzoli to become a world producer of textile machinery in 1955. From that moment on, Marzoli has been the only manufacturer in the world with the ability to create the complete line of machines for spinning cotton and synthetic fibres.

In March 1999, Marzoli became a part of the Camozzi Group.

The factory has since been reorganized and modernized in order to offer new high technology spinning solutions. Today, thanks to high productive and qualitative standards, the company exports to many new markets including the middle and Far East.

PRODUCTION
Marzoli today represents the perfect example of a fusion between mature experience and modern progressive technologies.
In the production departments, mechanical process and assembly utilize the highest technologies available for the manufacture of qualifying components that will ultimately be employed together.
The internal computer network allows the technical production services to obtain the 3D CAD drawings, approved by R&D Department and immediately generate, through CAM re-elaboration, all the information, then sent to the manufacturing workstations with amazing reliability and efficiency.
The core structures of the machines are processed on FMS lines that guarantee the highest standards of precision and component interchangeability. All production processes are certified according to ISO 9001 standard.

Our production mission embraces the following basic concepts:

  • Knowledge and master of the production cycle using modern production practices such as CNC workstations or production islands integrated with systems for the continuous control and quality monitoring.
  • Respect for the quality standards required by ISO 9001 in combination with continuous improvement research.
  • Internal production focuses on key machine components, such as the drafting cylinder of the roving and ring spinning frames.
  • Production management pays great attention to the logistical flow by the use of integrated automatic warehouses in the assembly departments. This allows a monthly production of 20 ring spinning frames mod. MPTN/MP1N, 15 roving frames mod. FTS/DN-FT2/DN in length up to 192 spindles, 15 cards mod. C601SN with associated blow room lines, 20 new generation combers mod. CM600N with the associated LW2N lap formers.
  • The inside assembly is organized by means of islands. Each phase foresees specific control and operational checks that together with the trials and the certification of the final phase guarantee the excellence of the final product.

SALES
In the last five years, Marzoli has embarked on new challenges and entered into partnerships in the international markets, particularly those in the Middle and Far East.
In 1995 a new partner was established in the USA, in 2000, Turkey, in 2001 Brazil and within the last four years, India and China.
Marzoli now has 15 complete plants in some of the greatest worldwide cotton producing countries. Karteks, Bossa, Sirikcioglu, Beyteks, Kipas, Cone Denim China, and Eurotessile in Italy are examples of companies representing these countries.
In the most recent years, the sales trend abroad has increased by 30% and is presently climbing at the rate of 20% annually.
